Megan Price is the founder and owner of MP Jewelry Appraisal and Consulting LLC. After received an Business Administration and Marketing degree from Temple University, Megan continued education at the Gemological Institute of America in an on campus education program earning the titles of Graduated Diamonds, Graduate Colored Stone, Accredited Jewelry Professional, Jewelry Essentials, and finally, the industry’s most prestigious credential, Graduate Gemologist.
 

Having worked in the NY diamond district for an major online diamond and jewelry retailer, Megan learned the ins and out of diamond sales, circulation, wholesale, and manufacturing. Moving then into the role of managing the service department for an American Gem Society member firm, Megan became highly educated in jewelry and time piece valuation, repairs, aspects of jewelry design, and retail sales. Megan further educated in appraisal education earning the titles of Registered Jeweler, Certified Gemologist, and Certified Gemologist Appraiser from the American Gem Society (AGS). Along with in depth training from attending multiple AGS Conclaves, completion of recertification exams, Megan successfully completed the Jewelry Appraisal Basic’s skills assessment examination from the Jewelers Board of Appraisal Review (JBAR).
 

The combination of fourteen years of experience in the jewelry industry, continued education through appraisal organizations, and as an alumna of GIA, the leading source of knowledge, standards, and education in gems and jewelry, Megan is an unbiased appraiser that you can trust.
